If you wish to purchase a coordinating backing, they recommended 1.75 yards of a 44" wide fabric, which will be a tight fit for the longarmer, or 1.5 yards of an 108" which is overkill, but you could use the excess for pillowcases or something else.
Difficulty: Quite easy, but beautiful! Get two to make a beautiful lap quilt.
