Charity Quilt Show - Quilts 81-90
Here are the next ten charity quilts for display. I've been taking pictures of them in groups of ten - just to help me keep some order, and to "get it done in a reasonable amount of time". Any more than ten, and I'm pretty tired of taking pictures!
I know that many of you are getting tired of seeing these, but I worked hard on them, as well as several other super nice people in various places, so I want to show you.
I really appreciate the special ones that were donated to us through my sister.
I suppose you can guess which ones - the stars and the brown one. Both are absolutely PERFECT for men and I will do my best to make sure they go to a good home.
I know you worked hard on them and I see no reason to allow someone who comes in reeking of alcohol to take these beauties home. While I know that alcoholics still need to be warm, they can have the ones that my sis and I whipped together with those panels - in less than an hour each.
Your quilts will find a good home! We are getting better at knowing "how" to do our give away and to make sure that your quilts make it where they will most likely be taken care of. Obviously there are never guarantees.
I so appreciate your help! It is wonderful, and it adds so much spice to what we give away. We are all different, and the things we like to make are different! It makes for a much nicer variety of quilts when more people than just one (me) make them - or in this case, more than my friend in AZ, Fran, and me. So thank you! It's wonderful. You've been so kind!
As to the last one pictured here - it's also pretty special. I'm thinking, however, that my sis picked it up in some destash stuff she bought. If I'm wrong about that, just let me know in the comments! Anyway, it's pretty cool too. The fabric is very modern and will certainly hit the spot with someone!
Here's the updated picture at the church! These stacks are getting higher and higher! I am so excited to see this!
And don't forget - if you happen to need something for your projects, just hop on over to the store and check out what my sis has for you!
