Cultural: Pollen/allergies in Poland

It's May and we've got pollen all over the place. The flowers are blooming, the grass is blooming and those who suffer with allergies are sick.

Here's a screen shot of a picture showing the condition of the air with relation to pollen - this one is showing grass.

My daughter in law commented that it is a good thing she's not allergic to whatever it is because her back porch is covered with white/yellow pollen almost on a daily basis.

Red shows that it isn't safe for your health. You are supposed to minimize contact with the outside if you have these allergies. This picture shows our status with relation to grasses. Today. The "x" is the region where we live.

My dad had really bad allergies. I never though I had them - but I do at least a little bit.  Yesterday I was sitting at the table eating something - can't remember what, and all of a sudden my nose started to just run.  i definitely do have some issues - thankfully it's not life threatening or even lifestyle inhibiting - though of course, I don't enjoy runny noses or that feeling in the back of my throat when it is the worst. But then again, that's what medicine is for, right?  I'm just the type of person who hates taking it!

Poland, at least our area, has all kinds of trees and flowering things that would cause a person who is sensitive nightmares! We are definitely NOT Arizona!

And now you know!

Be sure to check out what my sis has for you over in the store!
