Start or Finish Your Quilted Twins Project with Julie
There are many great projects that are a bit too much start to finish for a one day class, yet often not enough to warrant a two day class for some. Some classes will request that you attend with the project fully cut/prepped/ready to sew. That includes making & cutting/ sealing your quilt sandwiches. If you are confident & can do this, great, just show up at class prepped and ready to construct the bag. If you are not confident in doing this or are a beginner, never fear......just sign up for a
Start/Finish class beforehand/afterwards and you can then prep/finish & learn in an official class!
Some classes that just always involve a lot of work such as Ultimate Travel Bag, A Place For Everything, etc. will remain two day classes with the option of more prep or finish time with the Start/Finish sessions.
The limitations......whatever you are working on must be a class offered at QT either in the past or upcoming by Julie. Please do not bring a pattern that she has not yet taught or one we do teach but you aren't taking the class. You must have been or be enrolled in the project class to qualify for this help. If there is only one person signed up, Julie *may* ask you to work with her to reschedule, as she does have an 80 min round-trip to QT. Julie is very fluid and flexible when life's things come up, and she asks the same grace from you.
One other class stipulation. When you come to class, please plan to make the bag according to the specifications in the pattern. Modifying the dimensions or changing up the products used needs to be done *after* you make one according to the pattern.
Start/Finish classes will run from 9am-3pm and will be $35 (includes your room use fee).
Tuesday Sit n Sew Julie is available for "help". This is occasional guidance/advice. If Julie need to go through the project step by step with you as we do in class, it then needs you to book a Start/Finish class or a private lesson.
